native to desert regions, the rose of jericho is a unique plant that can survive years without water. it is also known as a “resurrection plant” symbolizing renewal, resilience, and life. as the rose of jericho dries out it will curl up into a ball, unfurling again into bloom when it is given water. this plant requires minimal care and is a botanical wonder as it dries out and reawakens over and over again. we recommend growing this plant in a shallow dish filled with a layer of pebbles or stone and a small amount of water. to avoid rot, allow the rose of jericho to dry out in between waterings and ensure the plant has enough airflow.
